The Holiday Season has arrived once again.  Have you ever just sat back and wondered why this time of the year comes around so fast?  I know we always do!! 
As you can imagine, this is one of the Busiest times of the year for Countrytime Cleaning & Maid Services.

Even though we rarely get a day off during this time of the year, (exception to this year...we will be taking a week off after Christmas - 1st time in many years.) It's always rewarding to look back and know that we helped so many people get through such a Stressful time.

Who really wants to worry about House Cleaning during the Holiday Season - instead there are so much more to worry about...the dinner, the decorations, family, friends and most of all, the wish list to mail out for "Santa Claus" in time for Christmas.....

On October 15th and 16th - we were at the Fall Home and Leisure Show at the Capital Clubhouse in Waldorf.  We had a great time there, meeting a lot of people and also networking with other vendors there at the show.

We also had the chance to meet Ahmed Hassan (DYI host of Yard Crashers), Mark Moseley and James Thrash (Former Redskins players), and Terri Conn and Austin Peck (from One Life to Live).

 This weekend we will be at the Fall Home and Leisure Show once again.  If you have a chance, please stop by and see what the Home Show has to offer.  And also of course come by and see us too :)

The trade show will be at the Capital Clubhouse in Waldorf.
(Saturday) Oct. 15th - from 10am to 7pm
(Sunday)   Oct. 16th - from 10am to 5pm

We had a great time this past Sunday (10/9) at the Bark in the Park event that the Charles County Humane Society had put together.
This is a Wonderful event that they do every year to comfort and care for over 10,000 animals annually.
Plus it's a time for all the pet lovers to come together and spend the day with their 4-legged family member and have fun!

Here is a sampling of how funds raised will be used:

• $20 will feed a litter of kittens for a week
• $30 will buy two 50lb. bags of quality dog food or four 25lb. bags of cat food
• $50 will cover the cost of spaying or neutering a dog/cat before adoption
• $75 will cover our utility bills for 1.5 days
• $100 will cover the cost of vaccines, heartworm, or leukemia testing and microchipping, as well as spaying/neutering before adoption
• $600 will cover computer tech support for the
  shelter for one month

Wanted to wish all of the Fathers a Happy Father's Day!! 

We took a day off today (which really NEVER happens) - but today was a special day.  It was our son's High School Graduation!!!!
It was a Big mile stone for us and for him as well.  He really didn't think it was such a "big deal" at first but once he walked onto the stage and received his Diploma - he THEN realized this is it...he has accomplish High School.

We are very very proud of him and we wish him the Best for the future!!
